NNSAT Conducts 2026 First Quarter Route March

The Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology (NNSAT) has conducted its 2026 First Quarter Route March in line with the Nigerian Navy Schedule of Events, reaffirming its commitment to enhancing operational readiness. The exercise, held on Saturday, 11 April 2026, was designed to improve the physical fitness, mental resilience, and combat preparedness of personnel.

The route march commenced at about 0600 and was led by the Commandant, Commodore Chikaji Aminu Isah. It was attended by staff, Officers in Training, and Ratings in Training, all of whom participated actively. Personnel marched through designated routes within and around the Base, covering a distance of about 10 kilometres before returning to the take-off point, after which static aerobic drills were conducted to further build endurance and cohesion.

Beyond physical conditioning, the exercise served as a critical platform for strengthening teamwork, discipline, and esprit de corps, which are essential for effective mission execution within the Nigerian Navy.

In his remarks, the Commandant commended personnel for their resilience and exemplary conduct, urging them to remain disciplined, loyal, and committed to duty. He emphasized the importance of maintaining peak physical and mental readiness, while reaffirming the Chief of the Naval Staff leadership’s dedication to personnel welfare.
