STUDY TOUR: WARRANT OFFICERS ACADEMY VISIT NNSAT

The Commandant, Nigerian Navy School of Armament Technology (NNSAT), Kachia, Commodore Henry Aruomaren on Wednesday 31 July 2024 played host to a team from the Warrant Officers Academy (WOA), Jaji. The team led by the Commandant WOA , Brigadier General Auwalu Mahmuda comprised of 13 Officers and 79 student soldiers’ including two from the Republic of Liberia and the Gambia.The tour aims to expose the mid-level soldiers to Nigerian Navy guns and equipment with a view to affording them the opportunity to enhance joint training and operations as well as the interoperability of equipment across the services. The WOA; a Nigerian Army institution, is focused on building an effective, motivated and professional junior leadership cadre that cements the connection between officers and soldiers.Briefing the students, the operations officer NNSAT, Navy Lieutenant Mansir Sani emphasized on the activities of NNSAT which was followed by the static display of Nigerian Navy guns and equipment.The hitch-free event was attended by the Deputy Commandant, Nigerian Army School of Artillery, Brigadier General Charles Zebere, other principal staff officers of WOA and NNSAT. It was climaxed with the signing of visitor’s notebook, presentation of souvenir and group photograph.
